George is gentle, loving and trusting despite everything he has been through. He has shown no aggression and no behavioural issues, just a young dog who wants to be loved and given a chance.
Cautious Progress, But A Long Road Ahead
George is still waiting on results from skin scrapes and ear swabs. His vet bills have already reached around £1,200, and this is only the beginning of his journey.
Ongoing vet care
George still needs veterinary treatment, follow-up medications and continued monitoring.

He is having regular medicated baths, special shampoos, natural wipes and supportive care.
Ear treatment
His ears are improving after Hibiscrub washes, fold washing and regular cleaning.
Natural diet
His skin is looking better since moving onto a natural diet with pre- and probiotics.

The Future He Was Almost Denied
George is only 1.5 years old, and he was hours away from being killed because taking care of him had become too difficult for the person responsible for him.
Broken Halo Rescue stepped in believing they were saving a healthy young dog. After George was safe, the reality of serious undisclosed medical neglect became clear.
